Not a lot today, drive shaft went in, smooth as silk.
Used some blue painters tape to tape the front universal in a straight line with the shaft. Went quickly although the bolts were slow as you can only use open end wrenchs it seems, or I did anyway.
Left the tape on, shucks it will come off the first time I put it in gear.
Noted when I was underneath, had not seen before, looks like a universal broke some time in the distant past and pounded out a cresent in the bottom of the tunnel. Bet that got someones attention. Just goes to show how poorly these little cars were maintained over the years. Now I can fill the transmission. Joy joy, that will be all the lubs except for the steering rack and will pick up the corn head greese tomorrow morning when I am out for my flue shot.
Can not fill raidator yet as I need a few more hoses and the temp gage needs to go in after I get the material for the dash. Just may be a bit on that.
Going to be below freezing tomorrow nite and the next so things will be slow in any case. However, must do something every day just to keep Miss Agatha happy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
