Oil in the punkin today, engine mount bolts test fited in and out, engine striped a bit, slings in place, headlight and flashers sorted out as to run etc, carbs new GG needles and idle set, piston fall checked, heatsheld tested for fit. Everything layed out like an operating room. Kind of makes me wonder what I screwed up?

That's all folks.

Off to pick up my rental hoist for the weekend.

Jack, remember to put some old blankets or some other padding around that pristine engine bay, PLEASE.
Wouldn't do to have a scratch now, would it?
Jeff

Good luck on it all, Jack. Engine in is an exciting thing!

Me, I'm hoping to pick up a hoist this weekend and start making plans to pull my (MG) engine.

The blankets the moving companies use are great for this job, BTW. Hertz has 'em... or just grab the comforter off'n th' bed. Ain't gonna get it dirty, after all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
