Hub caps on all the way around. And that means all the suspension is in along with all the brake lines.

Waiting for a few parts to mess with, engine is next and I have all I need for that but the hoist.

Rented a hoist $35 for all day sat and sun. Pick up friday afternoon and return by 8:30 mon morning. Boy if that don't do it it is not doable.

Naa, still missing parts for interior, exhaust, and some misc items. Going to have to wait till after the first of the year I am afraid. Someone stuck Christmas and a weding in December both compete for funds.

So that's what those little hubcaps with the "AH" fit! I have a few of them....

Need two without any blimishes Tony, hard to find in that condition so prob don't even look.

I'm sure they have blems, Jack...next time I'm out in that shed I'll look though I'm amazed you didn't spot them though, while you were doing inventory....hehehehe

I did, but I have 6 already. Two are like new, and two have a few scratches where they were set down on the pavement to hold nuts I supose, but they are preaty good.

That's brave of you to put the hubcaps on before you're really done. You know you'll just have to take them off again when you find the next little "trial fit" item in the suspension or brakes... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ha, oh yee of little faith. Bleed brakes when I get a clutch cylinder and good to go. I've already done the trial fits, hehe.

More like oh yee of too much experience! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Naaa, that's why it takes me so long. Trial fitments and such while I try to remember how it all goes. Been so long but it does come back mostly.

I would run the elec fuel pump wires if I knew where to run them, oh to the ign switch of course but how to get there properly.

My progress just ground to a sheer halt. Was refitting the rear bumpers on the midget (in the garage) and changing fluids in the BGT (on the driveway) when I noticed it getting a bit dark.
A couple of storms were in the forecast, no big deal, just carry on when they're over.
No.
The National Weather Service just updated their 2 day forecast to include up to a foot of snow.....

Here's the dilema.
The wife is at work, how would she feel if her spot in the garage was taken up by a BGT, and am I prepared to scrape cold stuff off her car at 5 am tomorrow?

Maybe you're getting the storm we just had. 2 feet of new snow in the mountains, the resorts are all happy as can be.

How big is your garage? I managed to fit 2 Spridgets and my wife's truck in my 2-car garage. If I could remove a shelf at the back (a later project), I could easily fit 3 spridgets, or a spridget and an MGB along with the truck.

If I hadn't been able to do that, the Midget would be outside. I don't mind scraping my wife's truck, but sometimes discretion is the better part of valor, and all that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's not the size of the garage, it's the amount of junk my wife keeps! Not a big deal, I'll cover them up overnight tonight.
There's some bits and bobs I can take care of the midget that have been nagging me....Headlamp gaskets, exhaust flange and some body work when I dropped the bonnet on the fenders.
I also bought this $80 timing light with a dial on it, looks like some stun gun from Star Trek or something, it didn't come with instructions and went to their website and they wanted $6:00 for them!
Guess the timing will wait then, was going to do that today too...

Shoot, take the timeing light back.

It has buttons on it, and it lights up. It was expensive so it must be good right? I'll figure it out.
The need to get good timing done on both cars is imperitive.
