Stage one is complete.

Now on to stage two, getting the tub back and ready for goodies to be installed.

Spindles and carb bodies out getting new bearings in both.

Need lots of new parts when tub is ready.

Order out to finish engine, lifters mostly.

Hot as heck here, good time to slack off some. Kinda stand back and look things over. Rechromeing is so expensive I think I can go with new chrome bits cheeper.

Still looking for an anadizeing place in the eastern half of the US. The only one I have found is on the west coast and he wants 700 bucks for the windshield suround, mounts and cockpit suround, that has to be awfully high. I hope.

so that what a 1275 is "supposed" to look like. Very Nice Jack.

Looking good, Jack! Can't let the Tunebug see those pictures, or he'll get jealous. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That my friends started live as a 948 and is now a 998cc engine with mostly new bits, trany is a smooth case factory rebuild, rear end is a 4.22 my rebuild. if it wore it was replaced, bearings, bushings, seals, gaskets, rings, etc.

Oh yea, still working on my second can of engine paint. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

oops I'm bad, missed on that one, in any case she sure looks purdy

...& I'm picking Jack's sandblasted tub up from the sandblaster Monday afternoon & taking it to body shop for etch primer...may even see if they can apply the final paint to underside before Jack gets it back!

Go Tony. How am I going to sleep sunday nite. Kinda like Christmas when you were a kid.
