Front bearings awful, looks like they were packed with regular greese. Dumb.
 
There wasn't any grease,regular or otherwise on the bearings on the Midget.It was as dry as dust and the bearings were shot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Shot to bits Doc.Each one kinda fell apart,bearings all rolling over the floor.Is this Timken the same as the one that sends bearings all round the world.I recall getting Timken bearings in NZ.

Same one, Timken makes em for everything.
 
I ran Timkin almost 20 years, till I sold the car, may have packed ethem 3 times. It was a daily driver.
