My first drive in three years! Sure, it was just around the church parking lot next door, but it was still a drive. Up through all 4 gears (clutch and transmission working fine) and down again hard on the brakes (which also work, even a slight chirp out of the rears). Noisy with no muffler, but still around I went.

Also picked up a temporary registration -- gives me 15 days to get the safety inspection done so I can get my sticker. I've already got plates, just need the muffler in place. I'll be calling the muffler place tomorrow to see when I can get it in. Supposed to be storming the next few days, but hopefully it will pass south of here and I'll be able to get it done sooner.

Man that thing is loud w/ no muffler. I don't know why, but my 1500 is really kinda quiet w/o one compared to yours. You BE guys are lucky, those things look so cool. Great Job! Best radiator recore I've ever seen!

Very cool! Perhaps you can fit your exhaust with a cut-out. Many Brit cars "of the day" had them for when you were out of the city, touring the "Continent" as it were.....

Nice! I hope it gives you lots of miles and smiles!

That is sweet!!!! congrats. Must have felt so good.

YES! Congrats and enjoy!

Way to go DREW!!! That put a smile on my face, I can almost see your smile while you were doing 'semi-hot laps!

Should have put out a few cones and had your own personal autocross.

Loved the lumpy sounds at the 40 second mark!

Dang it! I am seeing this at work and they frown upon the drinking of scotch during working hours. My toast to you will have to wait a few hours.

Lovely, looked and sounded so nice.
