well, today was a really good day. fixed the gap under the heater, installed the last of the rad hoses. finished the ventilation hoses. got the speedo cable installed. pulled the windshield out from under the bed and started cleaning it in prep for installation. purchased a battery as well as new heater hoses - and installed them.

finished cleaning up the dash and finally figured out and hooked up the rest of the wires - it's so nice when the lights go on and things finally make sense. There are a few wires left but they are radios etc so I'm confident it will all work.

Just two pairs of wires that I don't know about and even as I write I have the schematics to sort those out.

Tomorrow, oil pressure sender, H2O sender, hook up gas and choke, install window, bolt in dash, add fluids and she should be good to start on Sunday. First time in 15 years.

Needless to say I'm starting to get excited. I was looking at the parts rack and am realizing that I am literally running out of parts to reinstall.

BTW - have any of you noticed that the engine bay of a Midget gets smaller the more things you put in it.

thanks again for all y'alls help!

Much smaller, and yes it is very nice to run out of parts as long as you don't need more critical things.
