Progress GB - Roar

Well Saturday we got GB to run. Just a few lil things, but man does this lil A series roar. It needs a good amount of adjusting, I believe mostly to get the SU's air/fuel mixture to feed the vocal cords properly. The oil pressure also needs to be adjusted downward.

The only lil snaffus, were that the timing was 180 degrees out, which was found during static timing. And the oil cooler lines needed to burped to get the pressure up.

There was an exhaust leak at the header which is fixed now and the oil has been changed (nothing major in the pan, probably just some cam lube), and valves were tightened down a little bit.

The SU's seem to work fine, but when she is adjusted to how I usually would she doesn't want to rev up, but she does rev when rich or lean. I suspect new jetting is required (or timing adjustment) and will tinker around a bit more in upcoming weeks.

Thanks to everyone for all of there help.

Boy oh boy does that look good. Only thing I see wrong is the painted thermostat alum fiting on the block.

Surely hope Miss Agatha looks that good. I will be pleased if she does.

Again, outstanding job, show it off.

Thanks, Jack,

There are some fine finishing that needs to be done, but I want to hit the tarmac with him. He is defintely alot better detailed/updated (I hope tastefully) then in the past. When he was restored before I didn't have all of your help.

Thank you all SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much and of course BASIL.
