Progress, Carb up-date

I found that I had a choke that was not closing all the way, maybe an 1/8 or less.

Could not get the carb correct piston drop and choke.

Put in an old carb tube everything fell into place. Will check running in the morning. If all ok will call Joe Curto and get a couple of his.

Man if this is what it is it has been a long road. Never get any carb parts from anyone but Joe Curto Inc. They may be fine but it just ain't worth the hassle.

Re: Progress, Carb up-date

I'm glad you didn't get those from me, Jack!

Noop not Moss or VB, no telling.

Depending how things go tomorrow I may just pull my dash so I can get behind easly. Got a few jobs back there. We shall see.

Re: Progress, Carb up-date

Well you know I could not wait, hehe.

Had to start it. Much better, think I can do something with this now. Still lopeing a bit but now I can adjust the carbs and see where it goes from here. Heck I bet I can even get the timeing spot on.

Seems the front carb is carrying the load.

I'm proud of you, Jack. I thought you were getting soft, and patient, and all that. Good to see you're still at it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
