The hovel is a "live aboard" space. Think: sailboat. Limited space, no room to expand. Everything needs to do at least two things to be worth incorporating.

Sunday we brought ALL my tools/boxes back here from the shop, the intent is to regain my one-stall garage as a place to actually WORK on my rolling stock. For the last 25 years the laundry equipment has resided at the rear of the garage, that has now changed and I have another few cubic feet of space to hold roll-cabs and tools... I'm chuff'd!!

Some pix and a saga may be forthcoming. :jester:

Good on ya lad... Too many years as Cabin Boy, now Ye's gonna be Boatswain.

Woohoo! We need the story and pics, though, or it didn't happen.

I do have to say, there's nothing like a dedicated workspace, however small.

This will come as things progress. Right now I'm just happy I can reach for a tool and know it's THERE.

With good storage racks to get stuff off the floor, a one car garage can feel like a mansion. You're gonna love it, Doc.

I was lucky to build a 2 1/2 car garage (2 American, 1 LBC) a couple of years ago. It really changed my life (sad, but true). Now, my friends come to help with projects, bring their cars, and we fully enjoy the time spent wrenchin' and talkin' there.

A working garage space is truly a man's castle. Enjoy it! :yesnod:
