Got the rear loom re-covered (electrical tape... hey, I'm no purist) and re-connected to the front one. Surveyed the bent/mangled brake and fuel lines and "have a plan" for t'morrow: Connect up the electrics, do a smoke test, lights, wipers, hooters, fan... then square up all steel lines, push some fuel thru the pump, reinstall Weber and see if she lights off!

We'll see if my ambition is bigger than my time allotment /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

g'luck ... hopefully your smoke test is smoke free... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

oo... and get video footage... if not pics... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

SmokeTest postponed: BoneIdle an' I spent th' afternoon BenchRacing in front of th' B instead...

Good use of th' time, actually /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

...and tomorrow we might have a nice luncheon in the engine compartment! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Intel could build microprocessors in there, it's so clean!

Aside from a ground issue (R. rear) and bulb wattage difference (R. Front running light), she passed her SmokeTest with nary a whimper!!! We've got integral wiring. I'm chuffed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

BoneIdle was dilligent as a smoke monitor, all was anticlimactic. Great day. Much coffee consumed in celebration. WHEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

So, you didn't "pop smoke" to mark your position, Doc?

Nope! Black Ops has a new definition. A total "non-event."

Ooops, mebbe I need to rethink that last.
