Wedge Progress and a Wedge question

The passenger side floor near the big metal plug should basically be flat, no?

Progression of the floor, as was, then deadening removed and then after some serious wiring brushing. Not done yet with the clean up yet, but moving along better than expected.

Just checked mine - it's level and flat for 8 or 10 inches forward of the seat, then slopes downward a few inches, then flattens out again.

Yours looks right, but may have been crumpled from improper jack/lift placement...

Thanks Tim.

I took a hammer and gently, um, persuaded the floor to return to it's original shape. Pretty easy to do actually. Will post a pic later.

Must be pretty common since the TR7 parts car had similar evidence of an errant jack as well.
 
I think the proper term is "formed." Other terms lend to the image of a tire fitter with a 12 pound sledge.
