Took the batt. out of my truck and installed in Miss Agatha.

Tested cranking, no joy, tested batt. switch with a screwdriver. Bah. switch not working. So out it came and took it apart, try that when you don't have anything better to do. Fixed it and reinstalled. Copper contacts were just corroded. I will order a new switch but this will work fine prob for years.

Cranked engine.

Ok time to adjust valves. Later.

Jack,

Congrats on the cranking. I smell lift off soon. My new motor was recently fired up at the engine shop but the oil pressure pulsed badly so required tearing into. Appears some oil galley threads were not seated very well. More test stand running to come soon. When we get our cars together we should get together. Want to meet halfway?

Cheers,
John

Jack, following your progress on a daily basis has become an addictive thing for me. Every time I log onto my PC I immediatly go to see what's up with Jack and Miss A. Don't know what we'll all do when you've got her up and running. Maybe you should come to Maryland and work on my Bugeye with me next year (remember Bugeye in a field?). Thanks for all the updates and inspiration - Have a great holiday season, and Happy New Year to you and Miss Agatha!
