Ed, I'm with Hagerty (with agreed value) and they don't require an appraisal but I had both the Mini and the GT6 appraised anyway. The price you were quoted sounds OK for our area. However, it's been about 5 years since I had this done so prices will have changed.

The guy I hired came out and took notes on the cars then went back and did research on what the vehicles were selling for and came up with a value on his own. I thought his figures were reasonable based on similar cars.
