How can I find out the production date of my 96 XJS. I was told that the last production date was April 4, 1996 and that only 500 of the XJS 2X2 convertibles were produced. I am curious as to the authenticity of this production number and am curious when Onslow's birthday was...

Thanks for any advice/info I can get.
 
The production date should be on the emission lable visible on the drivers side B post. Should have the VIN, Paint code, interior code, and the production date of the car. For other data, contact the Jaguar daimler heritage trust in England. Sorry, I don't have the contact info, but it should be readily found on the web.
 
:thankyousign: After I stop reeling from Onslow's hospital bills, I am going to pursue getting his history, certificate and perhaps a conversation with original owner garnering whatever I can.
