I swear my tac drive cable is about 4 inchs short. I have it comming out the right hole and is as straight a shot to the generator as there is.

Strange. will pull it and measure it next.
 
Noop, was not comming out the right hole, all fine now.
 
Good deal, as I recall on my old BE there was really no extra length to play with, which makes perfect sense for a tach cable!!
