Is there such an animal as Flat power wire such as 1/0?
Been thinking about finally installing the carpet in the Wedge and I have that 1/0 wire that runs from the boot to the passenger kick panel
Thought a "flat" wire would sit down better.
I have never seen such an animal. The only thing I can think of would be to run 4 number 8 conductors in parallel. They must be exactly the same length. That would give you 160 amps and if you taped then together carefully you could make a flat cable.
Another solution might be to run multiple separate wires in a smaller gauge. For example, 10 lengths of 10 AWG should work, and lay flat if you are careful.
