TR6-hit large pothole. Now I can turn left no problem, but when I start to turn right it quickly jams. Looked for anything bent, no signs. Did I blow out the rack?

You've obviously done some damage, so you should check it or have it checked immediately. It's a safety issue. We can sit here all day and speculate, with no useful information to go on, but I think that just jacking it up and looking at the parts should tell you a lot.

Try first getting the front wheels off the ground on jack stands and have someone turn the steering wheel while you watch the steering system for interference. Then take the tie rod ends loose from the tie rod levers and turn the steering wheel again. This should get you to knowing where the damage is as between the rack or vertical link components.

You *may* have the damage covered by your car insurance policy - altho' cost to repair may be less than your deductible.

Wouldn't hurt to at least call your insurance agent and ask.

And if you have good collector car insurance , there will be no deductible. In my experience, blown rack,
likely a wheel too. The old Tr spindle may or might not have gotten tweaked. Time for professional help.
