May your Transmission work and your windsheild not be broken.

This might work.....

Nine-year old grand-daughter left a rose on the coffee table at our house yesterday (she gets on and off the school bus there, long story). Attached to the rose with a twist-tie is a piece of red paper, and on the paper is printed the following:

"Adolescence is a budding rose
Bringing new fragrance to your nose
Soon will bloom a new day
Adolescence is on it way!"

She was also issued with an "emergency kit".

Is it just me? I thought that it's one of the worst examples of writing I have seen........

I did NOT make this up!

It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! :jester:

Try this-----

And Steve, that verse is pretty bad.

Hope your day gets better :savewave:

Stuart.

Did you hear about the guy who walked into his doctor's office with a carrot in one ear, a stalk of celery in the other and an olive up his nose? :nonod:

The doctor said " Don't say a word. I know exactly what's wrong with you.

You aren't eating properly!

I thought that similar rhymes might be marketable as insulting greeting cards.....

"Sorry that you're feeling sick
It really isn't fair
But just in case you don't make it
I got dibs on your chair"!

For an office colleague of course..........

3AM this morning, Basil and Mrs Basil were jarred awake by... the extremely pungent odor of a present left by our apparently parasite-infested Jack Russell, Rocky. The present was deposited squarely in the middle of our bed. Basil gets to drag Rocky to the Vet Tomorrow.

It took us 30 minutes to clean up and change the bedding.

We both had to smear Vick's under our nose in order to get back to sleep due to the lingering odor.

Now that may not be a cheerful story, but I'll bet it made you laugh

A priest, a rabbi, two Buddhist monks, a guy with a llama on a leash, an Old English Sheepdog, and Bob Barker all walk into a bar. The bartender takes one look at them and sez "What is this, some kinda joke?"

Thanks, I'll be here all week.
