TR2/3/3A Possible UK Source for Authentic looking Clutch/Brake MC

I've never dealt with them, so I can't recommend one way or the other. However, that is the early style master that was used between TS13046 and TS34310. After that, they changed the masters, which had the different casting. Also, the seal was modified to cure excessive pedal travel (according to Piggott) . In the Triumph parts manual, the earlier type is superceded by the later style. When I got my current TR3 (TS23xxx) in the mid '70s, it had one of the early type, and one of the later type...both very grungy having been on there awhile. So it is a legitimate supercesion.

Thank you for the clarification. It seems that the one advertised on eBay is the only one offered by anyone with a correctly shaped casting.

I like them Angel. Even though I have collected a bunch of that stuff over the years, if I needed a set, I would give them a try before I bought some of the ones I have seen. Just because they would blend in better; I enjoy the original look. But again, it sounds like Tropic 6 has what you need. He has given me things before; he is a good dude.

The Scotts offering may be more authentic looking but My guess is its from the same chinese mfg. that make them all.Maybe India.
Country of origin does not necessatily mean anything, but the lack of attention to detail on the boot fit and retaining method(lack of) I would be suspicious of the internals quality.
At least the Moss china sourced offering comes with a year warranty.
If I had an origianal with two seals I would not remove a seal and if rebuilding and I had the 2 seal kit I would use both.
The pushrod doesnt move straight along the bore center so under pressure the piston leading edge rubs the bore with only one seal in the rear.
if you found an original cylinder are the rebuild kits available?

China, Twain ,Vietnam, and Cambodia all have very competitive inner Markets. The manufacturing in these countries are not, “same—same” as they would speak it . Small companies go broke and reopen with better parts all the time. The problem they have is communication as to what exactly needs to be fixed. I truly hate to say this, but many of their products like tools, Milwaukee and Craftsman for example are made all over in Asia with parts coming from different counties and inner venders. If they knew they had to fix that rod in the Master cylinder to sell more, they would fix it.
