Positive to negative ground conversion

I have just finished converting my car from positive to negative ground, and now my tach doesn't work! I followed the instructions listed on Hendrix wire wheels web site, and everything else seems fine. I believe that I blew a diode in the tach, as the instructions have you reverse the power connections to the unit and what was originaly the ground connection has a diode connected to it. Any one else had this problem with this conversion? If so, any idea of the part number for the diode?
thanks

Oops, never mind. You must be smarter than what you are working on! I assembled the loop on the back of thr tach correctly and every thing works!

Glad I could help....Oh, wait, I didn't.
