NOT British.
Daughter's 91 5.0L LX Mustang Convertible....sitting under the maple tree for 2-1/2 years, decides to drive it...won't pass emissions ans the mufflers have holes you can put your hand into.
Got a catalog, ordered out the cheaper Flowmaster cat-back exhaust.....don't need stainless tips......hoisted it up, put it on stands, cut the old one out and unbolted...put the tailpipe and lead pipe in,,,and, if the muffle was going to be but-welded, it would have worked. 4-1/2" shorter than stock.
Called the supplier...."Oh, you ordered the cheap system...has Flowmaster lead and tailpipes, but our muffler".
Off for a 2-1/2" adaptor pipe for each muffler......cut to length...bolts in. 2 hour job took 5.
MORONS!
