Pos to Neg Conversion

I am in the process of converting my BJ7 from positive to negative ground. I bought a new neg ground electronic SU fuel pump to replace my old points-style pos pump. My question is, in the pic circled in blue there looks to be a spade connection. Anyone know what’s that for?

Thanks,
Pete

Just a ground. Shouldn't need it, unless you isolate the pump from the chassis with rubber mounts.

Don't pitch the original pump. They can be rebuilt.
