The fading problem that Jack mentioned is an issue, especially if the car is left out in strong sunlight for extended periods, and varies considerably depending on the color of the car! Generally though, the lighter the color, the less severe the fading will be and after removal of the stripes, a little compounding or clay will also, in most cases take care of it! I only suggest it as an option if one is not certain they want to live with the stripes and not have to repaint the whole car again in order to return to a solid paint job! As Doc. suggests, the newer automotive paints are much less prone to this fading. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif
