i dont know perhaps 3 - 4 years ago i posted a story "pool healey" i recently found many other parts from that car including the engine, sent for the heritage certificate and build sheet, turns out its a factory "100 m" , not a dealer instalation but a true certifiable "100 m", life is very interesting, with it being my busy season ( home improvement contracting ) and now this new project well that has been part of the reason i havnt been posting very often lately. just want to say hello to all my old friends and welcome to all the newbees.

I don't play music, and am not into fly-fishing, but my birthday is May 12th and I am an A&P/ AI. I guess the Healey link is obvious. Small world. Have fun with the project.
 
roscoe, yes small world indeed, many great people born on may 12th, in fact george carlin, that about says it all, ive always known id be involved in aviation, at age 7 i was walking with my grandfather holding his hand, on the corner there was a texaco gas station across the street was a mobil station, as we stopped to look for traffic i pulled on his hand pointing at both stations i told him i was going to work for both those companys, he asked if i wanted to be a mechanic for them, i said no, im going to fly thier airplanes, what he asked, i dont even know if they have any he said with an astounded look on his face, ive been that way all my life, i only wish he lived long enough to see what id done, "popi" was the one that got me interested in fishing, and greatly responsible for saving my life, many artist, actors, and music types have our birthday, my older brother was born the same day as "hitler" in 1950, very fitting. :yesnod:
 
Great story on the "find".......please let us know what you intend to do withe the "car"....love to see pictures of the parts.
