That blue vinyl interior always was timeless... :highly_amused:

Imagine the chemicals in that vinyl and we rode in those seats as kids.
 
It's nice to see in some areas they are trying to clean up a lot of this garbage. No reason an abandoned car should set on a beach that long. Shows how the beauty of nature and keeping it clean, is just not in the hearts of many people. PJ

Where I live ( San Diego area) they have made barriers on the beach out of cars to protect the houses on the cliffs overlooking the ocean- they did it back in 1978 and I will bet that they are thinking about it again now with El Nino coming. Those La Jolla folks don't like to see their houses fall into the ocean.

I'm amazed at how good of shape the front bumper on that Pontiac is in.
 
I suspect that the car had been buried for some time.
 
I want the spitfire. Lots of usable parts there. Better than some on mine.:D
 
Wonder how they apply bottom paint to the Buick.

More likely Anti-Fouling - or, I suppose they could just oil it a la Exxon Valdez :p
