TR2/3/3A poly bushings - upper wishbone

There are two rubber bushings for each side of the wish bone. See item 2 below. The poly bushings I bought are one piece and so far impossible to install. Is there a trick or should I abandon these particular bushings?

I warmed some water on the stove and then dropped them into it for a bit. A little soap will help, but once warm, they pop right into the arms.
