Poly bushing broke after 1 month use

Another poster mentioned poly bushings breaking.

This one broke on my Panhard bar after about a month's use.

Had purchased it around 10 years ago as part of a set from one of the usual suppliers. It was in a bag with other bushings for the duration.

It is marked "0806".

I wonder if these things have a shelf life or if they're just defective.

I have a saying, "You can get time, or you can get miles but you can't have both. I wouldn't think it would have broken but there you have it.

My guess is they have a shelf life. Most non-metal things do.
