I always scratch my head when "This car has a perfect pedigree and is valued at much higher than the price it is offered at", "This car is probably the only example with its original motor in it", "Show-Room-Quality Restoration" is advertised on CraigsList for this much money.

Nobody else will buy it, so he goes to CL?

You mean one of these?

I've bought stuff from the owner over the years for my MGB, including my Daytons and most recently a gear reduction starter. I recently got to meet him as he lives not to far from me. He has quite the collection of interesting british cars and he sells parts on the side. Super nice guy. While Craigs list is an interesting place to advertise such a unique and collectable car, hey... why not, it's free advertising and you never know who might be checking it out.

A friend of mine here has a red one he brought back from England in the late 60's. He was in the Air Force, I forget what town it was where he found it in a barn. It is all original, including paint, runs and drives but is not in pristine shape. He use to take it to the local car shows but has stored it for the last couple of years.
