I have had UPS come to the house, and they picked up a single box, no problem. I have not had them send me any packing stuff like boxes, but they will.
No disrespect meant towards the USPS. It just seems that the place near me is always crowded, so the wait time is kind of long, but I must say that for the most part, I have always received very good service once I got to the counter. I know what you are saying about packing things correctly. I have seen the hold ups in the line are usually due to improper packing or labeling, and the customers give the USPS people crap about it, even though it is their fault.
