Hi, my name is Anatole, and I have always loved older cars. I still have my 1956 Porsche 356A that I rebuilt with my dad, back in 80s. Unfortunately, my dad passed away 9 years ago but the memories are still with me.
I had 2 ALFAs as well, 61 Giulietta Sprint coupe and 78 GTV6 but had to keep only 1 car when I got engaged. Fast forward to 2017, 6 years after an amicable divorce, I started to collect cars, tools, etc.
I now have an original 74 JH with 32K miles, a 73 TVR 2500M that is in great shape except for the normal older bushing/ball joints, 2 GT6+s that need complete restoration, '41 Dodge pickup that I took it apart to restore but instead have been restoring a '38 Dodge pickup instead and almost done. I also have a '95 ALFA 164Q in great condition and a 2001 SAAB Viggen vert.
Due to lower back injuries some 8 years ago, it's not as enjoyable to be under the car or bending backwards inside the car to replace the master clutch! While I endure playing soccer, my plans have changed, and I now plan to move to France and therefore will be selling most of my collection with the exception of Porsche and maybe JH.
I joined this forum to get some help as I started to replace many or most of the bushings, ball joints, engine and diff mounts of my TVR 2500M. I have the car on stands and removed the passenger suspension and replaced the bushings with Poly and the engine mount on that side. I was hoping to get some help about the Diff front and rear mounts as I don't know if it can be done easily or if I need to unbolt the body from the chassis. Well, I will be searching the forum first and then ask if I can't find anything related.
I am a member of Triumph club of Portland (PTOA) and I know that the 2500M has the TR6 engine and many of the parts of the suspension, but some wishbones are different. Same with the Diff. But replacing the parts is not always the same on TVR as on a TR6 because of different chassis and body.

I will be checking the classifieds, if there is one, as I do need to sell my cars later this summer and I also have misc used parts including bonnets and body parts for GT6 (MK1 and MK2) that might help someone.

PS: while I have been working on cars since my 20s and manage to do almost everything (I have not tried full engine or clutch rebuilt), I'm not an expert like many others that I had the pleasure to get knowledge to help me working on my SAAB or ALFA and in return, I have also shared my experiences and/or helped others.

Cheers,
Anatole
