Please Please Please Can I?

I'd like to have one too.I figure that way,if
we ever have a house fire,I could beat the fire
department,& start without them.
The downside to these older engines is that if
the pump needs work,it can cost a lot of money,&
some parts are hard to find for the older engines.

I must have missed something, American LaFrance was built by GMC?

JP;
I live half an hour away from Waterford if you want to see it.
And Norwich has an even older truck for sale, but lots of work.

Dave :savewave:

Heck, why go American, stay with the British... :thumbsup:

This old Commer unit is in southern Ontario, or at least was there still about seven years ago... I really wouldn't know if it's still there...

A lot of fire equipment manufacturers assembled
engines based on regular chassis - GMC,Ford,Chevy.

I just want a Firetruck - heck I even have a friend with one similar to this who would probably even give it to me, but, where to put it? and of course SWMBO would burst into flames!

You had better go to the office.

Cheers
