Can anyone tell me what these are and where they go? All 3 pieces. I am stumped. Thanks

The metal piece is the center windscreen bumper, to restrict it's tendency to blow back in the center. The wood blocks support the tops of the quarter panel capping, or dog leg capping.

Ah, the metal piece attaches with the mirror. For the wood blocks, I will have to take a look to see where it screws into the car...I don't recall seeing a pilot hole in the top of the quarter panel of the car, but then again I wasn't really looking too hard there. Thanks. for the quick reply.

Had to get home for pics...

They are dark, but the blocks go at the top of the dog leg edge behind the doors.

@Tush, thanks for the video link. I found the remainder of your videos and they are extremely helpful...although I am not finding your 1959 triumph tear down part 1 anywhere...found 2-15

@John, thanks for the pics. I found the hole in which the screws to the blocks go into. It's all starting to make sense now

On a side note, I wish someone had told me to install the mirror BEFORE installing the windshield...From the great Homer Simpson...DOH!

Tush what type of paint is that and how many coats. Sorry to hijack. Looks great

I use Matrix Brand Paints and Clearcoat. It’s a Urethane base, still solvent based but low VOC. I use Matrix AG40 For my clearcoat..it’s a European Style, high solid clear.

Cheers,
Tush

Found my wooden blocks in a bin . As for the mirror bracket still among the missing. I am a long way from needing either one but these post are a great help as my car was in bad shape and seems detail parts cast aside years ago by the PO. Frank
