Well, perhaps I can help a bit, as I've been out in a Sagaris on two separate occasions in England. First in 2005 and again this past summer. In 2005, it was on a rainy day and even then, the car had incredible adhesion and phenomenal power.
The 2005 version was rated at 406 hp out of the inline Speed Six 4 litre engine. The car is fitted with a full roll cage and feels like it is put together like a bank vault, compared with older TVRs. The car feels like a go kart on steroids and has 0-60 performance in the 3.6-3.7 second range. It also has brakes to match the get-up-and-go. But because it was raining, we didn't get to see a lot of its potential for pure reasons of safety.
This summer, the 2006 model had been downrated to 390 hp but the engine sounded better due to improvements they had made over the previous year. The day we went out in it was bright and sunny and the car performed amazingly well. It sticks to the road like glue and just when you think you are on the limits of adhesion and are going to go airborne, it just continues to stick to the road. We were doing 130+ mph in many instances on the straight away and 90+ through some 40mph corners that would send most cars into the hedgerows. It was an experience I won't soon forget.
The car is everything it is cracked up to be!!!
