Please help me identify this tonneau cover.

The width (left-to-right) is about 53 inches and the length (front-to-rear) is about 57 inches. There is a part number AHH 6827 but other than that, I am at a loss.

As they're all cut similarly I can't be ~certain~ but: It has the distinct appearance of a "custom" MGB one. Are those Lift-a-Dot fasteners (four per side)in the rear? They're all angled oddly for a B, but the thing has the right proportions.

The dimensions are correct for a B tonneau.
The snap configuration would appear to be correct for an early B factory optional tonneau, as is the color.
The snaps across the middle button down on the heelboard behind the seats.
Tonneau color initially was the same as the interior trim color, so this one would have been from a car with a red interior.
Oddly enough, I have such a car, with a black aftermarket tonneau.
...???

I have the original red tonneau cover and top cover for my '64 MGB. Both need to be restitched and cleaned up a little from storage, but look like they were rarely if ever used. The car is no longer red (BRG for many decades now) and I use a black "aftermarket" tonneau that came with the car and may be 30 years old itself.

I've a factory black one from my first B (early '66-pull-handle) needing re-sewn. Spent many a night under that cover as a college student. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Thanks guys. The fella that was asking found a stack of NOS in his father in laws shaop after he passed away. He has them up on eBay. He asked me if I knew because he originally thought they were from a Healey.

No financial interest etc but here is the auction.

Shinsen774: If you are interested in selling the red tonneau and top cover (I presume this is the "short tonneau" that covers the area behind the seats when the full tonneau is not in use), I might be interested in buying.
