My Minolta meter, before ISO became standard. :p

The ambient reading is accurate, I checked the flash metering when doing those 285 Vivitar modifications. Got a giggle out of this on the dining room table:

And making certain the "flash off camera" rig works with one of the Vivitar 285's using its original "automatic" sensor. No TTL. Works fine! No lens hood "shadow" at 17mm FL.
