Just for info, I had a plastic company drape form a new window over my old original hard top window that was broken and had to be glued together to make the copy. This was about 1980. I just got it out of storage. Moss wants about $630 for replacement. I called all around from Reno and the closest place who will do this is in Salt Lake City for $150, or possible Sacramento CA. I plan to make a replacement just for backup, since they are so rare and expensive.
But the bottom line is this: Have 2 sets of side curtains and had Tripp Plastics cut the window panes and asked them if I could polish out the scratches (some pretty deep) sustained in my back window. The guy was not much help and said, oh no, can't fix this, too deep. [censored] found airplane part site that has kits to do this also, but then went to local good paint shop and this guy showed me in about 5 minutes how to do this. Bought 1500, 2000. and 2500 grit wet/dry, "Liquid Ice" polish compound and hand polished and looks great.
If anyone is interested in replacement window, let me know, I want to have one for backup.
