I don't trust nothing I can't see (my definition of electricity). Why my boot light refuses to work on a regular basis is beyond me. I think some gremlin from another place has settled into my car's bedroom and is trying to wreak havoc with me and my baby. This is the eighth time I have taken it down. Plan 9 is about to ensue.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Tinster being out of pocket?

Bill - nearly every time I have "intermittent" light problems, it's either a ground problem or a dirty switch contact problem.

Last time this happened, it was a loose nut on a bulb socket, which allowed the socket to *just barely* wiggle in the frame, causing it to lose contact with the grounding surface.

I fixed mine a long time ago. It's called a flash light.

Bill- Look at what you are talking about. The fact this .12 cent piece of works lights at all is a mystery and a bonus. Double check the switch. In fact buy a new switch (there's another well made piece).Anybody to get a trip carb setup to work can't be beaten by a .12 cent piece.
