Placement of BL badges

I've ordered a pair of the BL badges that go on the lower front fenders. Could someone advise correct placement?

Thanks,

Marvin

Marvin,
I believe that the British Leyland (BL) logo only goes on the right (passenger) side. My 1976 factory MG Midget brochure only shows the BL logo on the right side. My 76 Midget has a BL logo on both sides but I think the previous owner installed them after the car was painted. I have attached a picture that shows the BL logo on the left side of my car. Hope this helps.

I also believe that the BL badge only goes on the passenger fender, in the location provided by the picture. Just on the other side of the Midget.

According to the OSM, they were originally on both sides, but later went to a single side. I do not remember the details.

I have two on my 1970, there were mounting holes on both sides of the car, so were re-installed after painting
A local Mg source thinks they might have gone to single side with the 1500's

Come to think of it I think my old '71 had only one on the passenger side. What to do, what to do?
