Well, I got the PL 700's installed with the halogens. Very bright! I used a 30 amp fuse that has a very thick "wire" in it. Looks like it would never blow. I think they were form Napa. What should be used? I ran a line form the starter button (solenoid).
 
You should match the fuse to the gauge of the wire and the specs. for the halogens -- big enough to handle to drain of the lamps but small enough to avoid frying the wire if there is a short.
