Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix & British Car Day

I'm all excited for the Vintage Grand Prix next weekend (July 14 & 15). From the website it seems like there is going to be a lot of really impressive stuff out there.

I'm hoping to put my mini in her very first car show... I just need to make sure that she's up for the trip first. Think cold thoughts at my engine!

This is us:

If you see us (and we'll likely be hanging around the koko lotus 11 replica that we're sitting in, or my visually loud checkered mini) come say hi!

Re: Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix & British Car Day

We're towing out to the kickoff part of the event in a few hours.
Eight hours of pulling the Sprite through the Rt. 80 hills of PA in ~Our Ford Van~ . Oh joy!
(then again, driving a Mini all the way out there ain't no easy task either).

Can't stay the entire week, so we'll just be running in the BeaveRun PVGP event *this* weekend.
Looking forward to seeing VRG friends from last year....at the Luau on Saturday night. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Really wish we could see ~Tivvy~ run his white Jag 150 though Shenley Park next weekend. Watch him! He's a hoot!
You might also see Micheal Oritt (white and red Elva) from BritishCarForum at the Shenley Park races. And Dave ("whatsthatnoise" here at BCF) may be driving around in his red street Elva.

#11 last year at PVGP @ BeaveRun

Tried to get the link to that Lotus replica to work but it wouldn't - have you a better link?

Is that your car?

Re: Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix & British Car Da

Absolutely stunning! Now I'm ~really~ disappointed I couldn't get there. That's more Lotus and Alfa history than I've seen in a LOOONG time!

Melissa, I think I love you. Thank you for the peek at the event. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Re: Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix & British Car Da

Glad I can help. Hey, you and my boyfriend have the same daily driver car! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Re: Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix & British Car Da

Just more proof that he's got discerning taste. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I suspect his is in much better condition than the rat I drive.
