I have a set of new rings with my pistons from Moss.

There is no difference between the two upper rings. Both are square to the sleeve with an internal bevel.

I thought they were supposed to differ? A middle scraper with an external bevel on the upper side?

Wrong?
 
I bought a set of pistons from BPNW for my Sptifire and the rings were the same. The pistons were made by County and the rings were Deves.
