TR2/3/3A Pisto rings again...

I would bet that it Is Grant. That seems to be the more common one out there. To get a set of Hastings, I had to contact Hastings from their web site number. They do not sell directly but gave me a phone number of an independent seller. I liked the quality of what I got.

The ones that come with the "County" brand piston & cylinder set, sold by Moss & others, are Grant. Last year I got a set and it came with the original Grant box & instructions folded up inside the larger box. However Moss will also supply Hastings rings separately. I swapped the Grant for Hastings & have had good results. The Hastings part number for the 86mm set is 6735.

I used a set of liners, pistons and Grant rings (P1173, 86mm) in my TR3A and have had no issues with them at time of installation or the 3½ years (4000 miles) since.

If ordering rings be very specific about what you plan to put the rings on.Not only the size of piston but the number of rings on each piston.
