Every year I am honored to go on a Mission to a Navajo Pueblo here in new mexico and do whatever is needed. Last year my geezer pal Bill and I joined about 55 fine men, women and kids from Sugarloaf United Methodist Church out of Atlanta and helped build haybarns, tore down part of a very isolated church and repair it..etc. This year I've been asked to lead a construction team of at least six men..plus a few Navajo. I've been told most can swing a hammer but advanced skills are unknown. I've humbly accepted..and hopefully with lots of bandages, ice and lots of prayer we should make it through this ten day trip. My wife has been nice enough to loan me her 4wd Durango to haul Bill and all of our equipment, supplies and whatever we need. Keep us in your thoughts,,,and I'll have lots of pics(and blisters) to show.
