Our yearly trip is still a ways off but the planning is in full swing. I wish I lived closer to Atlanta where the church is at but we're doing our part here. The first year I was the only one from New Mexico..last year my pal Stubby(MG owner also) went. This year looks like I have a few more that want to go. I plan on taking the Class A motorhome lugging a big trailer and supplies. Stubby will drive my Durango also pulling a trailer with tools and supplies and we need the 4wd for navigating the Navajo Super Highway>>>washed out arroyos...we plan on building a house and a tire repair store. We also plan on taking a couple of cars to donate to needy families and lots of gifts for the children and teens. The trip is the days right after the 4th of July but will go up before that as a kid I met has invited me to his graduation. He's one of the fortunate ones to stay on track...with a few bumps along the way...but so far so good. We're starting a drive shortly to collect towels, toiletries, books, clothes etc. These are things the young ones asked for...not toys and candy although we get some of that also. Great people who are fighting an uphill battle daily. No casino on this land.
