Whoah...

I mean...

ummm...

Whoah...

Now THAT's a color choice.

Witness the horror yourself @ https://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4627240443

I almost /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pukeface.gif when that thing came up on the screen.

As much as I don't like gold, it works. 2 icky colors make 1 intresting car. It looks like they did a fairly clean job... I guess that's what was popular in "days of old."

yup... i remember Dad and I seriously considerring a two-tone brown and tan paint job on his '52 MGTD with a chocolate interior.

Musta been 1976 or 1977 at the time.

Now I just cringe thinking about it - thank god for that un-expected head rebuild that put the paint on hold until he came to his senses. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Ala the MG "Cream Cracker" team colors? Not horrible, but....

As for the eBay 3B, well, it's a bit of a shame that this was done to a 3B, but an easy $7000-10,000 could take care of that paint and interior, right? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I admit to being a bit concerned about the wiring as pictured...junction after junction (nonstock, of course) of red or orange wires connecting to MORE red or orange wires. Reminds me of a Mayflower I walked away from many, many years ago, after seeing the entire car had been rewired with white wire. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

The colors are not that bad imo. Could have been purple or orange. If anyone buys it and doesn't like it, I'll take it off their hands.

I kinda like it. Needs some decent wheels though. I saw a Nash-Healey with similar color and liked it too.

Come on fellas, all it needs is some nice shag carpeting to make it perfect ;-)

A bit gaudy, but ,in a warped kinda way, I like it. It could be worse...a LOT worse.
