My beautiful new Fidanza aluminum flywheel was delivered yesterday and I was hoping to get my 1973 TR6 back together and running over the course of this weekend. However I'm wondering about the pilot bushing - quite possibly the original. The input shaft, original flywheel I.D. and the pilot bushing itself all look good, without signs of spinning and/or galling. The pilot bushing is a precise (non-interference) fit in the new flywheel but there is .004" to .005" clearance between the pilot bushing I.D. and input shaft. Unfortunately, the Bentley manual doesn't mention clearances on the bushing (at least as far as I can find). So I'm wondering, is the old bushing okay, or should I order a new one and delay getting it back together 
The 'very' generic Fidanza instruction sheet recommends using a little Locktite Gap Filler on the mating surface of the pilot bushing and flywheel but based on other threads here, I'm not so sure that's necessary or even good practice.
