Hi Guys,

Anyone know who owns the the rights to this picture. I'd like to use it on a flyer for the UK Healey Drag Group and it would only be polite to ask first.

I know it's Norm Cowdery but I have no contact details.

Cheers,

Ian

Norm Cowdrey from Canoga Park, California USA.---- Ian,Use google to possibly get curent info.--Fwiw--Keoke

I know Norm's car was featured in the book "Gasser Wars", but I can't recall if that was the pic. Last I read, Norm was living in Canoga Park, California and attending vintage races. Maybe could track him down, or alternatively, being a Nasty Boy, you could just use it and claim stupidity due to overindulgence.

Got Healey?

The grill tells me it was a 100/4.
Didn't the name come about, because it went 100 mph and was a four cylinder?
Then came the 100/6....because it was a six cylinder.

So this must be the....200/8 Healey.

Because of my HUGE radiator, I am seriously considering putting the taller 100-4 grill in my Ford V8 powered 100-6.

Then I'd have a 100-4-6-8.

The picture was also in color in a Hot Rod Magazine. I talked to Norm a few years ago and he had forgotten about it. For permission, you wouldn't contact Norm, but the photographer or Hot Rod.
