Picture of original bugeye tools?

Does someone have a picture of original tools for the Bugeye? And when someone says "original" are these tools that would have been included with the car when purchased? I see a wide variety of tools that people are calling "original"? Thanks, Kevin

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

Is the greese gun correct? I have seen two different types shown for the Bugeye.

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

I have 2 of those in good (but not "new") condition
$20.00 each (plus shipping) if anyone is interested.

I'll post photos if anyone cares.

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

I have 2 of the ones that Ray says are original- the GC3020
Hopefully the picture is attached

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

I want one. I still have your address. Do you know how much it would be with postage? My zip is 98579.

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

It will probably fit in a "Priority Post" medium box so shipping will be $10.00 to anywhere in the country. (maybe I can fit it into a "small" box and then it would be $5.00 to anywhere in the country.)

--Yes, it fits in a "small" box so $5.00 shipping!--

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

This is a picture that I saw recently from someone who claimed this was everything. Is that true?

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

Think there was a gauge-feeler-tappet and sparking plug 2A5419, and a screwdriver and gauge-ignition 3H2648.

Miss Agatha is now up to six tools and counting. Now you all know that only three were provided with all BEs, Jack, jack wrench and wheel wrench which was called a Brace wheel 2A5620 the rest were optional. This is for steel wheels of course not wire knockoffs.

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

The Service Parts List shows the following:

Jack-lifting 2A5472
Spanner-ratchet type 2A5627
Pump-tyre 3H2274
Gun-grease 13H50
Brace-wheel 2A5620
Screwdriver and gauge-ignition 3H2648
Spanner-tyre valve 2H1683
Spanner-box-sparking plug 2A5379
Gauge-feeler-tappet and sparking plug 2A5419
Screwdriver 2H4614
Bag-tool 2A5412

The grease gun in the photo is incorrect.

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

Well, now you have gone and done it.
Got me interested in getting all the BE tools!
I guess if it was easy, everyone would have all the tools.
Does anyone have an "original" bag?
Has anyone bought the MacGregor bag that he has on his web site?
I can't imagine an original bag lasting all these years.
P.S. I just emailed my "secret" BE parts source, and he said that he has most of the tools, but they are pricey!
It's just money!
The kids are already out of college, they know I spending their inheritance like a drunk'n sailor!

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

Yes, thanks a lot. As if I wasn't obsessed enough with my Bugeye, now I'm looking for the tools to match. Oops, just remembered I'm the one who started this. Oh well, I now have an original jack (but not the correct handle), lug wrench, tire pump, and grease gun. Does the bag MacGregor sell a close reproduction?

Re: Picture of original bugeye tools?

The orginal was nasty, thin vinal just heat welded together with a couple of ties. Was black of course.
