The dash is a combo of a 72 and 67 dash cut up and combined. The top rail is a reformed rear cockpit rail. The part that caught me by surprise was how much padding was on the dash. The first attempt looked good until i tried to install the radio console. BIG gap! I had to hand form the curved piece that goes in that gap and weld it in place. I made the glove box liner out of aluminium siding material and it is pretty shallow.Just enough for a pair of driving gloves and the registration papers. I have a couple huimderd miles on the car and its running great. I plan on taking it to the CMP event in Kershaw SC this saturday. We may bring out our black 67 and drive it down also.
